Lining Types

All Jacoby-Tarbox flanged sight flow indicators and sight windows can be supplied with a variety of fluoropolymer linings to match your piping or process specifications.  The fluoropolymers available from Jacoby-Tarbox include:

  • PFA

  • PTFE

  • ETFE

  • PVDF

  • Edathon

  • Specialty Fluoropolymers

Superior Corrosion Protection for the Most Demanding Processing Environments

Features:

PFA & Other Specialty Fluoropolymers

  • Application: Powder coating over catalytic primer

  • Substrate: Carbon steel standard; stainless steel available for cryogenic service and corrosive atmospheres

  • Pressure: Full vacuum to 3750 PSIG (258 Bar)

  • Max. Temperature: 500°F (260°C)

  • Thickness: 20-30 mils

ETFE Bonded Lining

  • Application: Rotational lining over adhesive layer

  • Substrate: Carbon steel standard; stainless steel available for cryogenic service and corrosive atmospheres

  • Pressure: Full vacuum to 3750 PSIG (258 Bar)

  • Max. Temperature: 324°F (180°C)

  • Thickness: 60-120 mils

Replaceable Lining

  • Application: Machined to allow assembly into part over gasketing

  • Substrate: Carbon steel standard; stainless steel available for cryogenic service and corrosive atmospheres

  • Pressure: 0 PSIG (0 Bar) to 1480 PSIG (102 Bar)

  • Max. Temperature: 450°F (232°C)

  • Thickness: 62-90 mils

  • Note: Only available on models 830-F-TFE, 830-FD-TFE, 860-F-TFE, 5005-DW-TFE

 

PTFE Molded Lining

  • Application: Blow molded to follow contours of substrate

  • Substrate: Ductile iron

  • Pressure: 0 PSIG (0 Bar) to 250 PSIG (17.2 Bar)

  • Max. Temperature: 450°F (232°C)

  • Thickness: 90-120 mils
