As part of a major expansion project in Western Canada, a canola processing facility is adding a new crushing line that will more than double its annual capacity to over 2 million metric tons. The plant crushes and refines canola seed for use in cooking oils and animal feed.

The expansion required reliable visual flow verification across multiple critical process points, including:

  • Product transfer from crushers to cyclonic separators

  • Through evaporators and filtration systems

  • To storage tanks
